Robbie Power
Robbie graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy from
The University of Sydney. Over the past 8 years she has worked in many facets
of Physiotherapy including the public and private sector in both Australia and New Zealand. Robbie completed her graduate year in a large Private Organisation in Sydney developing skills in chronic pain and rehabilitation. Robbie then returned
to her home town of Coffs Harbour where she worked in a private hospital setting developing strong
skills in post operative orthopaedics and musculoskeletal injuries, and continued her work with chronic pain rehabilitation. Following this,
Robbie returned to Sydney and then relocated to New Zealand working extensively in private practise and Aged Care.
Robbie joined the Hoys Physiotherapy team in June 2009. She has a particular interest
in sports injuries, exercise rehabilitation, chronic pain, post-op orthopaedics and falls prevention. She is committed to professional
development and has recently completed courses in muscle energy techniques for spinal and pelvic disorders.
