Peter O'Brien

Born in Sydney and raised on the northern beaches, Peter’s early passions were surfing (Junior Surf and Belt Champion North Curl Curl SLSC) and football (the round ball game). An early foray into the sciences, with a degree majoring in Biology/Ecology, was set aside for the outdoor life in landscape construction. At the age of 30 Peter returned to tertiary education and was awarded his degree in Physiotherapy in 1988. Following this Peter spent time at Manly District Hospital before setting up private practice in Dee Why in 1990. A decade as Principal of two successful Warringah-based practices was followed by a stint in Lane Cove and a move to Coffs Harbour in 2002.

Peter has two children (aged 10 and 11) going to school in Coffs and when not involved with their activities he enjoys a round at Coffs Harbour Golf Club or surfing the local beaches. Peter has recently celebrated 22 years of professional service to the community.
