Garry Heskett – Remedial Massage Therapist (Sports)

Garry is an experienced Remedial Massage Practitioner and has been practicing his profession since 2003. He completed his studies through the NSW School of Therapeutic Massage and the NSW School of Natural Medicine for the purpose of complimenting his duties with Sports Medicine Australia as a current accredited Level 2 Sports Trainer providing Sports Medicine coverage for local, state, national and international sporting bodies and teams since 1997.

Prior to joining the team at Hoys Physiotherapy Garry had served our Nation in the Vietnam War as an Infantry Soldier at 19 years of age. Upon honorable discharge, he joined the NSW Ambulance Service where he worked in Sydney and the New England area. Garry then left the Ambulance Service and joined the NSW Police Force - where for the next 25 years he continued to serve our State as a Detective with the NSW Police Force Criminal Investigations Branch. Upon his retirement from the NSW Police, Garry moved to Coffs Harbour.

Due to his experienced Sports Medicine background, and Massage skills Garry continues to serve our community in the sporting arena working and assisting local sports and visiting national teams competing in Coffs Harbour and on the MNC. He has volunteered his time as a former Head Trainer with Sawtell Panthers RLC, and will commence his 6th year as the volunteer Head Trainer and Medical for the successful Coffs Harbour RUC in 2012.

Garry is a member of the ATMS and is Health Fund accredited and is employed on a Casual basis with Hoys Physiotherapy providing follow-up massage therapy for clients under treatment by our experienced staff of
Physiotherapist, and is also available to cater to all your massage needs on an individual needs basis.
